Student Council
Student Council was founded with the aim to represent the students’ voice and defend their rights. Student Council is governed by a committee of elected students and provides students with student activities and other support services.
Student Council not only provides a useful arena for students but also a bridge between students and Kent College. Student Council can assist students and update them with Kent’s new policies and information. It can bring to the attention of Kent College the needs and wants of the students.
The Student Council is supported by Kent International College in most of activities
Member's Rights and Obligations:
Rights:
- You can participate in every club’s interesting activity
- You will be more dynamic, confident, creative and also obtain more knowledge and experience from practicing skills which will be useful for you in your future career
- You are offered opportunities to exchange and make friends with other students
- You can make any suggestion or any contribution to club’s activities.
- You will be offered some more services for free of charge such as motorbike parking, learning material photocopying...
- You will be issued a letter of compliment by Principal for what you have made contribution to Student Activities
- You will accomulate bonus points which will be used for studying other short courses at Kent ( no value in cash)
Obligations:
- You must be positive, enthusiastic, eager to participate in activities, contributing ideas for the club development
- You must follow the Student Council’s internal policies, working for the betterment of all Kent College Students.
- To bring ant grievance to the Student Councils attention and not quit without any reason.
