Multimedia Development
Introduction:
Diploma and Advanced Diploma of Website Development at Kent has been registered with the Ministry of Education Australia (http://training.gov.au/Organisation/Details/0fc097b0-94fe-4e8e-9bcf-476adaa9befe) and the Vietnamese Ministry of Education and Training. The training programs are strictly managed and assessed by the Australian Skills Quality Authority (ASQA). The qualifications are granted under the Australian qualification system (AQF). The qualifications are widely recognized across Australia as well as English-speaking countries around the world.
Program Content:
Diploma of Website Development includes 24 subjects as follows:
• 5 core subjects of Computing
• 3 subjects of graphic design.
• 5 subjects of architectural design, interior.
• 4 subjects of Web Design.
• 4 subjects of Program application development on the Website.
• 4 subjects of Multimedia.
• 2 graduation thesis on Multimedia
Knowledge students will gain:
_ Basic computer and work on the Internet.
_ Applied Informatics.
_ Configuring computer systems and networks.
_ Graphic Concept and design:
Students will learn the knowledge of design concept, photography and graphic software like Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator, Adobe InDesign. These are used in the application of the project, building brand identity systems, such as Logo Design, Name cards, advertisements, brochures, packaging and website...
_ Interior Architecture Design:
Students will learn the knowledge of analytical customer requirements; drawing sketch ideas on paper; models of furniture; technical drawings on AutoCad; using 3D Studio Max to interior design model and application materials for the model; using light to the scene; inserting objects and scenery; Camera used to animate the interior model. . . for projects of interior design.
_ Website Design:
Students will learn the process of knowledge, methods and ideas to build an impressive graphical interface for the Website. Using Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator to design Web interfaces. Website Design and Website interaction with HTML, CSS Styles, JavaScript, JQuery, Adobe Dreamweaver. . . Application of Dreamwaever tools combined with PHP, My SQL Website to build information and introduction of products. Using Joomla CMS to build the website in the news, online shopping, fashion, forums, blogs, online counseling. . .
_ Website Programming:
Students learn about basic programming, database design, Internet programming, access technology open source Web development using PHP, My SQL. . . . to design and develop e-commerce websites, online shopping, online payment system. . .
_Multimedia:
Students will learn about the idea of writing the screenplay, cinematography, staging context. Editing, montage on a computer with Adobe Photoshop and Adobe Premier. Designing a character moves with 3D Studio Max. Construction of special effects, the advertising techniques with Adobe Premier. Motion design, interface development, interactive Multimedia software using Adobe Flash and Action Script 3.
From the above knowledge, students will brainstorm ideas and scenarios, context of staging, filming, voice, technique. . . To make a short film projects, commercials, corporate video overview and music videos. . .
_ Multimedia Project:
Students will learn about project methodology of Multimedia, interactive programming PHP and XML, Advanced Flash programming Action Script 3. Writing, filming, editing building and improving. Develop E-commerce Website.
From the above knowledge, students will develop practical project in the fields of Multimedia, staging and editing photos, building an e-commerce Website. . .
With a practical knowledge and skills, students can learn what they can apply in a real project. Upon graduation, successful students will find work easily as well as gain articulation with universities in Vietnam as well as overseas
Strengths of the program:
• System electronic lesson: Each lesson the teachers records all the details on computer operations and an explanation for each specific item. Then copies the last hour of this lecture to all students.
This approach helps students review the knowledge that teachers have presented allowing the student to concentrate on specific areas.
• Library materials online and the real life experience of the faculty helps students improve their knowledge and experience in each subject area.
• Project fact: During the course of study, students are able to experiment with graphic design projects, website, multimedia. These are orders from real customers. So after completing their education, students’ practical knowledge is very high.
• University School transition: After completing the Diploma program, students can study up on international university in HCM City to get Bachelor degree or study in foreign universities.
• Commitment to quality training and job placement: After graduation, the school will introduce students to link companies with recruitment.

• Highschool graduates
• No English requirement
Graduation requirements:
• Complete all modules in the program
• Obtain a certificate of TOEIC 350 or equivalent
• Complete other duties of the school (financial, educational materials ...)

• Curriculum Vitae (notarized at the local level)
• Copy of high school diploma (or temporary certificate of graduation)
• Copy of high school transcripts
• Two 3x4 photos
• Copy of identity card
Timetable:
• Morning: From 7:30am to 12: 30pm
• Afternoon: From 02:00pm to 05:0pm
• Evening: From 06:00pm to 09:00pm
